Hotel Equatorial Penang is traditionally the leading purpose built conference, meetings and banquets venue on the island. It has the largest columnless ballrooms and the most number of meeting rooms in one venue. It has been the preferred partner for in-house banqueting and outdoor catering services. The hotel is well established for catering annual dinners, theme parties and even open-houses during the festive season.

Package inclusive of the following:

  • Use of Grand / Matahari Ballroom or part of the ballroom from 9.00 am – 5.00 pm (conducive to group size)
  • Welcome coffee & tea with cookies
  • Two (2) coffee / tea breaks with three (3) varieties of snacks
  • One (1) lunch
  • One (1) whiteboard and one (1) flipchart with markers
  • Two (2) standard wired microphones
  • One (1) white screen
  • Writing materials, bottled drinking water and assorted sweets for all participants
  • Complimentary wireless internet connection for two (2) users per group. Special price of RM15 nett per additional person per day

Function room rental may be imposed depending on the group size. A minimum of 60 persons is required for all conference packages.

Ballroom Half Day Package
